I have worked hard to make a positive difference for Vermont by serving as Vermont’s Lt. Governor for nearly the past six years. As many Vermonters know, I am a pilot. I continue to fly commercial airplanes today. It’s how I’ve earned a living for 28 years. Every pilot keeps a logbook and makes an entry after every flight. Our logbooks allow us to keep track of our activities and accomplishments. I have kept a logbook of my work as Vermont’s Lt Governor. In this logbook I have kept a record of my work. As the presiding officer of the Vermont Senate, providing steady nonpartisan leadership, focusing on what is best for the people of Vermont. As Chair of the Governor’s Homeland Security Advisory Council... As Chair of the Governor’s Commission on Healthy Aging... Continuing the exciting, important work of the Green Valley Initiative... Creating the Vermont Aerospace and Aviation Association... Continuing my work as Vermont’s Ambassador to World... Working to make cutting edge energy solutions a reality in our state, from the farm to the forest and beyond. The logbook says, “This is where I have been.
